I have always wondered why folks of modest means would want to be Republican. They don’t want to help the middle class, lower middle class or the poor. Right wind conservative pundits like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Jeff Beck and Bill O’Reilly and they rest of that group are super rich and they don’t have to worry about health insurance, social security, becoming homeless or any other concern the middle and lower classes have to worry about.
They can’t tell their audience the truth that they don’t care about anyone but the rich so they attack Democrats, Moderate Republicans, Moderates, the Left and the Far Left. They make the word Liberal sound like these people are inferior or have a disease. The use it in a similar way that bigots use the N word to degrade African Americans. The rich Republicans try and make you believe, especially fellow Republicans all sorts of lies about the Democratic leaders and especially Obama. They try and tell you that Obama is a Socialist even though he is a Capitalist with a Capital C. No one that has written books that has made him million is a socialist.
The Republicans have two classes of people, the have’s and the have not’s. The rich Republicans in general really don’t care about the Social and Religious values they claim to have a claim to. This is how they lure the lower classes into following them; they demonize everyone except the far right for one simple reason to gain more wealth for themselves and their cronies. The far right wing of the Supreme Court has even gotten into the game after they granted corporations human rights.
The rich Republicans don’t want the middle class or less to gain wealth. It doesn’t matter if they are Republicans are Democrats. They want the rich to get richer and the poor to get poorer. Under the Bush administration most experts agree that we had the largest transfer of wealth that benefited the rich than under any other Administration. Families earning more than $1 million a year saw their federal tax rates drop more sharply than any group in the country as a result of President Bush’s tax cuts, according to the latest Congressional Study.
The middle class Republicans and below are being brainwashed by rich Republicans to keep them in their place by deceiving them with outright lies, distorted facts, character assignations and fear. The Average Republican really needs to take a look at more than one news source to get their information. Fox News isn’t really a news organization, if all honesty it should be called the Republican National Television Station. I would like to challenge all Republicans that are not already brainwashed beyond repair to study the facts and see if being a middle class Republican is really helping you financially.
